Online Marble Racing

Marble Race Online – Marbula One, Marble Rally and More

Yes, you heard us right. Marble Racing is a competitive sport that has its own league. There are multiple events and after watching most of them, we can assure you that they are thrilling. You have the Marbula One, which is a race with professional marbles that represents the high speed and high adrenaline action of Formula One racing. You also have Marble Rally, which gives a great alternative to WRC fans looking for something to watch. There are, of course, many other events and races that are held but maybe one of the most standout ones is the Marblelympics. This is a large format event where all marble teams compete in a series of challenges to win their spot on the podium.

The masterminds behind the Marble Racing League and the famous youtube channel Jelle’s Marble Runs are Jelle Bakker and Dion Bakker. What sets them apart from everyone else is the amount of effort that went into the whole idea. They not only created the teams, but they also created backstories to them. Every marble on each team has its own name and story in order to make it more realistic and entertaining to the viewers and fans. Jelle and Dion Bakker painstakingly crafted each track and course for the events and races the marbles go through.

According to viewers of the Marble Races, the sport sucks you in a vacuum just like any other. You get emotionally invested into each marble and can feel the excitement when your favourite team wins or loses. There are 16 teams in total, each being represented by a unique set of marbles. You can root for the Savage Speeders, Mellow Yellow, Team Primary, Thunderbolts, Hazers, O’rangers, Limers, Green Ducks, Team Galactic, Hornets, Rojo Rollers, Team Momo, Balls of Chaos, Midnight Wisps, Snowballs or Raspberry Racers.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the sport gained a lot of traction and won the hearts of millions of people around the world. Marble Racing attracted so much attention that it was covered in John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight’s show. Mr. Oliver became the sole sponsor of the Marble League in order to support the events coming in the next few months, especially the long-awaited Marblelympics 2020. The top three marble teams will win cash prizes, which will be donated in their name to different causes. This sport is so unique and refreshing that it has actually became a favourite for the Last Week Tonight’s host. Let’s go over the most popular races in quick succession:

Marbula One Championship

This is the newest event in the Marble League. Inspired by the real Formula 1 series, Marbula One features select teams from the League on an ingenious track. This tournament was first started on the 15th February 2020 and hosted by Jelle’s Marble Runs. With its outstanding debut, fast action and high competition, Marbula One has attracted the attention of motorsports fans around the world, high-profile content creators and even scored an amazing 19,000 viewers on their live broadcast.

Marble Rally

Another popular and fast-paced event hosted by Jelle’s Marble Runs is the Marble Rally. This is an outdoor tournament that puts the speed and control of each marble team to the test. The race is held on courses that are created in the sand or ground outdoors that feature twists, jumps, obstacles and even high-speed straights. There are no heats here as each marble is left on its own to survive the course. At the end of each season, the marbles with the highest score are qualified for the next Marble Rally season.

Marble League: The Marblelympics

This is the main event when it comes to Marble Racing. This tournament is held every year and it features the top 12 teams along with 4 automatically qualified ones with 5 marbles representing each one. After an entertaining ceremony, the teams compete in a series of challenges, which are inspired by the real-world Olympics. The teams can earn medals and score points. The one with the most points at the end of the Marblelympics wins the Marble League and gets to stand on top of the podium. This is followed by a closing ceremony and extinguishing of the torch and the end of each year.

Marble Race Betting

Of course, with marble races being so entertaining and popular, avid gamblers would love to place their bets on their favourite teams. Betting on marble races is the same as betting on any other sport. What you need to keep in mind is that the Marble League only picked up in speed recently and online British gambling sites are starting to feature them just now. Of course, bets are a bit more limited than with other sports, but the excitement and possibility for large wins are the same. Same is happening with the American gambling sites.

Betting on Marble Races

The features, such as odds, betting on the fastest lap or most overtakes, will be present at the marble racing betting. At the moment of writing this article, marble racing bets are not being offered in the U.K., but they will be implemented soon and you can expect to see them in the most popular legal betting sites. Marble Races To Bet On

When they become available at betting sites, you have to know on which marble races to bet on. While currently the Marble League features only three main events, only two of them are worth it in our opinion. The first one is Marbula One, which is the newest of the bunch and currently offers the most excitement. There is a very high factor of competition there, which will create amazing wagering opportunities.

The second one we can recommend is the Marblelympics. We consider this to be the main event. The first one was back in 2016 and it is going strong. If you are looking for a chance to place a complex bet that covers all the challenges and take advantage of some high odds, then this is just for you.
