Betting Operators and Their Emy Award Betting Odds

You can’t buy tickets for this kind of event, because they are offered to the associate and active members of the Academy and the nominees and that already includes over 24,000 members. For example, last year alone, you could not even get a position as a seat filler or red carpet arrival spectator.

But here’s another kind of ticket we have in mind, one that is bound to put a smile on your face. An event so prestigious could not have been left unattended by the bookies and so far we are given some very attractive odds on who’s going to be the winner in their category. To make things easier for you, we are going to give you a detailed overview of the best odds out there.

The odds for outstanding drama series at Wiliam Hill

When it comes to the outstanding drama series, if we look closely at Bwin, it seems that The Handmaid’s Tale is the favourite, priced at 1.25. Game of Thrones stays at a solid 4.00, The Americans is at 15.00, Westworld is at 26.00 and Stranger Things rest comfortably at 51.00.

Some experts would argue that The Handmaid’s Tale has the momentum now since Hulu aired a lot of episodes. The last time when we watched Game of Thrones was sometime last August (last season). For the same category, William Hill offers a 1.28 on The Handmaid’s Tale, a 3.50 on Game of Thrones, 15.00 on The Americans, 34.00 on WestWorld and 41.00 on Stranger Things.

Going back to Bwin, this time for the comedy series, we see Atlanta at 1.60 and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel at 2.20, Barry at 15.00, Curb your enthusiasm and Black-ish at 34.00, while Silicon Valley, Glow and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt rest at a solid 51.0. William Hill has some interesting odds in the same category and let’s begin with Atlanta at 1.67 and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel at 2.25, Barry is at 13.00, Curb your Enthusiasm, Black-ish and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt at a surprising 34.00, GLOW is at 41.00 and Silicon Valley at 51.00.

The odds for outstanding comedy series at Wiliam Hill

I have no idea if it’s a show you’re after or a certain actor, but the offer is extremely diverse and knowing where to place the bet can make all the difference in the world. If I were to put my money where my mouth is, I would say that for the outstanding comedy series, the award goes to Atlanta. For the drama series, I would bet on The Handmaid’s Tale.

For the lead actor in a comedy series, it would seem like Donald Glover will take the award for the 2nd year running. When it comes to a lead actress in a comedy series, I have to say Rachel Brosnahan looks like a solid pick and her extraordinary performance in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel did not go unnoticed.

Emmy Awards Betting Odds – Bet on the Beaten Favourites

It’s a common strategy in sports betting which also brings value to the novelty markets. Paraphrased, its name means to put your money on the competitor who has something to prove. It also works for the newer sports betting markets too!

Every so often a talented nominee jumps into the fray and walks with the big prize without the bookies nor the public expecting that. That happens every other year or so. We then say that the favourite lost to an underdog. Be sure to follow closely this pattern and you could get on the right track to actually making sports betting work. Betting the beaten favourite is said to reap nice profits for the sensible horse racing bettors, but we believe that adapting it to the Emmy Awards markets is possible. Are you up for the challenge?
